PURPOSE: A prefabricated revetment block for a breakwater and a construction method thereof are provided to secure an enough habitat space for fish and shellfish, and to ease impact from waves. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated revetment block(A) for a breakwater is composed as follows. Coupling grooves(11) and coupling protrusions(12) are formed on the top surface and the bottom surface of a block body(10), respectively. Horizontal grooves(13) are formed in the front and rear surfaces of the block body, and vertical grooves(14) are formed in the left and right surfaces to circulate seawater. A water discharge hole(15) is formed in the block body, and bent parts are formed in the water discharge hole to ease impact from waves. A communication hole(16) is formed in the block body. |
