<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device reducing the tilt of an objective lens caused when recording or playback of a disk having eccentricity or face wobbling is performed without using a special detecting means such as a tilt sensor, and to provide an optical disk device. <P>SOLUTION: A tilt drive amount calculating means 32 calculates a tilt correction drive amount by the equation of motion of an objective lens actuator using focus position information and tracking position information. Rotation control is performed with the calculated tilt correction drive amount to reduce the tilt.
