<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely grasp the usage state of an image formation apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Among a plurality of pages to be subjected to image formation processing based on a print job, a predetermined number of pages thereof serve as one unit. Before and after the execution of the image formation process of the amount corresponding to this one unit, history information (log) is written in an external storage device. Thus, even if failure occurs during the execution of the print job, at least one history information remains in the external storage device at a high possibility.
