<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device in which a polarizing plate for reflection prevention provided at a touch panel side is disposed in an optional direction without changing the azimuth of the absorption axis of an upper polarizing plate provided at the outgoing side of the display rays of light of an image device, and to provide a display with an input function. <P>SOLUTION: The display 100 with the input function includes such a structure that a lower polarizing plate 82, a liquid crystal panel 5a (element substrate 50 and opposite substrate 60), the upper polarizing plate 81, a retardation film 91, a touch panel 2 (first insulating substrate 10, an air layer, a second insulating substrate 20); a quarter-wave plate 92, and a touch panel side polarizing plate 93 are sequentially laminated. The magnitude relation of variance in a retardation value between the retardation film 91 and the upper polarizing plate 81 is set according to a relative position relation between the retardation film 91 and the upper polarizing plate 81, and even when an angle made by the slow axis of the quarter-wave plate 92 and the slow axis of the retardation film 91 is changed from 90° to another prescribed angle, the coloring of an image is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
