METHOD FOR AUTHENTICAING DEVICE ON PLC NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a device on a PLC(Power Line Communication) network is provided to authentication a measurement device safely and accurately through double authentication using first and second authentications. CONSTITUTION: When an authentication process between an administration server and a measurement device is completed, a main server creates a personal key and a publication key for the measurement device(S1,S3). The administration server transmits the personal and publication keys to the measurement device(S5). The first and second measurement devices authenticate the measurement device of the other party through the publication and personal keys(S7).
