<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type mobile terminal having a slide part without exposing a head or distal end of a screw in an open state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first housing 2 and a second housing are connected to each other by the slide part. The slide part includes a base part 32, a guide rail part 31 and energization parts 33, 34; the base part 32 is fixed to a fixation part 41 and slidably guided to the guide rail part 31; and the guide rail part 31 includes a guide part projected toward the second housing side, and an extension part formed by extending the guide rail part 31 to project outward from the guide part. The energization parts 33, 34 are formed to energize the base part 32 to a slide end of the guide part. This slide type mobile terminal is structured such that the extension part is made to abut on the circumference of an opening 40 when attaching the slide part to the opening 40 to advance from the inner surface side of the first housing 2 to the outer surface side thereof, the base part 32 and the energization parts 33, 34 are made to pass, and the guide rail part 31 is prevented from passing through the opening 40.
