PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device in which an arc is not generated even if a connector is plugged out in a state of being switched on. SOLUTION: This is equipped with a voltage wave-shaping circuit 2 to power off a direct current voltage from a power supply converting circuit 1 repeatedly in a predetermined period in every appointed cycle, connectors 3, 4 to mutually connect lead wires 16 connected each to the voltage wave-shaping circuit 2 and an inverter circuit 13 side, and a diode 5 and a capacitor 6 to correct a waveform of the direct current voltage from the voltage wave-shaping circuit 2 which is inputted via connectors 3, 4. |
