<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter, restraining restenosis from an inside wall by applying a drug to the inner walls of both ends of a drug coating stent. <P>SOLUTION: This balloon catheter (1, 11) is formed by mounting the drug coating stent 3, 13 on the outer periphery of the balloon 2, 12, and coating at least the outer periphery of the balloon 2, 12 coming into contact with both ends of the drug coating stent 3, 13 with drug 8, 18.
