<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving a light emitting device capable of obtaining a constant luminance without being influenced by temperature change. <P>SOLUTION: A current mirror circuit which is formed by using first and second transistors is provided for each pixel. The transistors of the circuit are connected so that their drain currents are kept at approximately equal values regardless of load resistance. By controlling the OLED driving current employing the circuit, occurrence of variation in the OLED driving current caused by the characteristics of the transistors is prevented and constant luminance is obtained without being influenced by temperature change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
