Shock wave head and method for its production

The head (1) has coupling bellows (3) made of polymer e.g. polar plastic, and comprising a coupling region (4) for coupling to a patient. Nano-particles comprising polar functional groups are provided at an outer side (5) of the coupling region, where the nano-particles are formed as carbon-containing particles and nano-diamonds. Organic groups are coupled to the nano-particles, where the nano-particles contain functional groups with acid-and/or base function. The nano particles with carboxyl groups are provided at the coupling region. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a shock wave head.
