SERVER AND METHOD FOR BUILDING PCELL DATABASE IMPROVING DETERMINATION ACCURACY

PURPOSE: A server and method for building pCell database improving determination accuracy are provided to accurately position the pCell of a mobile communication terminal by storing a reference PN and an adjacent PN as a reference PN. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(510) offers a data transceiving function to a positioning server. A controller(520) receives a PPM(Pilot Phase Measurement) data and a latitude/longitude data through a communications unit from the positioning server. If a plurality of active PNs(Pseudo Noise) are included in PPM data, the controller establishes a plurality of active PNs as a plurality of reference PN information of the pCell coping in the pCell database. A SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) of an active PN is over constant reference value.
