PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display using a back light unit is provided to prevent a crack of an optical sheet using multiple slits on a hooking unit on the optical sheet to absorb or block an external impact. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display using a back light unit comprises the following: a first long hole(152a) to insert a first protrusion(122) formed on a first hooking unit(152); a second long hole(154a) to insert a second protrusion(134) formed on a second hooking unit(154); an optical sheet(150) including the first and the second hooking unit; multiple first slits(153) installed between the edge of the first hooking unit and the first long hole; and multiple second slits(155) installed between the edge of the second hooking unit and the second long hole.
