<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely calculate information on a target. <P>SOLUTION: A radar device includes a transmission and reception means and a target detection means. The transmission and reception means transmits radar waves and successively receives radar waves reflected by the target. The target detection means detects the target based on the peak of the spectrum of a reception signal received by the transmission and reception means and determines that the target has been externally fit when the target cannot be detected from the peak.
