<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera support device, the support legs of which can be easily extended. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tripod includes a camera fixing member and the support legs 3. The support leg 3 has a first pipe member 31 which is attached to the camera fixing member, a second pipe member 32 to which a first stator 44 is fixed, and a third pipe member 33 to which a second stator 47 is fixed. A middle-stage gap-forming surface 44b of the first stator 44 presses a first contactor 45 against the internal face of the first pipe member 31, thereby fixing the second pipe member 32 in the first pipe member. Final-stage gap-forming surfaces 47b and 47c of the second stator 47 press second contactors 48A and 48B against the internal face of the second pipe member 32, thereby fixing the third pipe member 33 in the second pipe member 32.
