PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lure which has a large specific gravity, is excellent in adhesiveness between a body and a coating layer, and can easily be produced. SOLUTION: The lure 2 includes a body 8, wires 10 and a coating layer, wherein the body 8 comprises: tungsten or a tungsten alloy; the body 8 has grooves; the wires 10 comprise metal wires; the wires 10 are arranged in the grooves of the body 8; and the coating layer is filled in the grooves, and covers the surface of the body 8. A method for producing the lure 2 comprises a process for preparing the body 8 comprising the tungsten or the tungsten alloy, a process for preparing the wires 10, a process for arranging the wires 10 in the grooves of the body 8, and a process for coating the surface of the body 8 and the wire 10-arranged grooves.
