<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device improving viewing angle characteristics while reducing light loss of emission light. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tilt angle ϕ of each microlens in a microlens array 13 is set so that an exit angle θo of light emitted from the microlens array 13 based on incident light from light emission parts 16R, 16G, and 16B falls within ±5 degrees with respect to a direction perpendicular to an observation face.
