PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation area for a combined cycle power generating facility. SOLUTION: Heat exchange elements 74, 76, 78 may be integrated with the inlet guide vane, exhaust frame strut 72, outlet guide vane, related support structures, and other parts of an exhaust diffuser 68. Also, the heat exchange elements may be integrated with a large number of parts of a single exhaust diffuser. In addition, the heat exchange elements may be integrated with the parts of the exhaust diffuser in a hydrofoil profile part which surrounds both the heat exchange elements and the individual parts of the exhaust diffuser. By using the hydrofoil profile part, the aerodynamic characteristics of the heated exhaust gas 34 flowing across the exhaust diffuser parts can be easily secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
