<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar battery excellent in conversion efficiency and capable of being used for a long period as well. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar battery is provided with a hard transparent substrate composed of and hardened from silicone resin having a main component of poly-organo silsesquioxane as expressed in a formula (1) (RSiO<SB>1.5</SB>)m(RSiO<SB>0.5</SB>)n and having a basket type structure in a structure unit, wherein R is an unsaturated group as shown (a) -R<SP>1</SP>-OCO-CR<SP>2</SP>=CH<SB>2</SB>, (b) -R<SP>1</SP>-CR<SP>2</SP>=CH<SB>2</SB>, or (c) -CH=CH<SB>2</SB>, an alkyl group, a cyclo alkyl group, a cyclo alkenyl group, a phenyl group, a hydrogen atom, an alkoxyl group, or alkylsiloxy group, and a plurality of R's in the formula (1) can be different from each other, but at least one shall contain either (a), (b) or (c), and R<SP>1</SP>is an alkylene group, an alkylene group, or a phenylene group, R<SP>2</SP>is hydrogen or an alkyl group, and m=8 to 16 and n=0 to 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
