<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance mechanism and a printer, reduced in size, and improved in reliability in conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: In roller pairs 110A, 110B each having a roller 111 and a roller 112 opposed to each other while sandwiching a conveyance path 106 therebetween, rollers 112 movable in a direction abutting on or separated from the roller 111 are covered with cover members 120A, 120B. The cover members 120A, 120B are supported by a rotational shafts to be moved along with movement of the rollers 112, and inclined face parts 121, 122 cover predetermined areas of outer peripheral surfaces, wherein each inclined face part is inclined so that a position near to a nip part 113 in a conveyance direction becomes nearer to the roller 111 than a position away from the nip part 113. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
