PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect both of a regular defective pixel, which becomes an abnormal output regularly, and a flickering defective pixel, which has flickering characteristics to irregularly output a regular output and the abnormal output, thereby solving the difficulty thereof. SOLUTION: Between the regular defective pixel and the flickering defective pixel, conditions for detecting the defective pixel such as the storage time of a dark image signal and the number of times of generating the dark image signal are set to mutually different conditions and the respective defective pixels are detected.
