PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to prevent an oil leakage by forming a cylinder of a friction engaging element and the inner race of a one- way clutch integrated to a support member, and fixing the support member from the inner side of a transmission case. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 4a of a friction engaging element RDCN/B and the inner race 4b of a one-way clutch RDCN, O.W.C are incorporated as a support member 4, and a holding structure of a speed change element is composed of the support member 4 and a transmission case K2. When they are assembled, the support member 4 is fixed to the transmission case K2 only at one position from the inner side. When they are operated, there is no oil leakage between the cylinder 4a and the inner race 4b, because the cylinder 4a and the inner race 4b are incorporated integrally. Furthermore, no oil leakage to the outside is generated because the support member 4 is fixed to the transmission case K2 which is an undivided structure.
