PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wide variety of visual effect without exchanging a cover member, in a display apparatus and electronic device. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a first light source 2; a first light guide plate 3 where the first light source 2 is arranged on an end surface 3a being an incident surface, and the light incident from the first light source 2 and guided is subjected to optical path conversion to emit the light in a planar form from a main surface side; a second light source 4; a second light guide plate 5 which is disposed above the first light guide plate 3, wherein the second light source 4 is arranged on an end surface 5a which is an incident surface, and the light incident from the second light source 4 is subjected to optical path conversion to emit the light in a planar form from the main surface side; and a light-shielding sheet 6 which is arranged between the first light guide plate 3 and the second light guide plate 5 and partly has a hole part, transparent or semi-transparent sheet light transmission region 6a.
