<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT system wherein the attaching/detaching work for a circuit board is easy, and the transmission abnormality in the circuit board, and in signals between the circuit boards can be reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This X-ray CT system includes: a detecting section 14 for detecting an X ray which has permeated a subject P by the irradiation of the subject P with the X ray; a daughter board 151 which is used for collecting signals from the X ray detecting section 14, is connected with the X ray detecting section 14, and has a circuit for processing signals from the X ray detecting section 14; and a data collecting section 15 which is arranged in a vicinity of the daughter board, and has a backplane board 152. Signals from respective data transmitting sections 151c1 to 151cN which are transmitting means for the non-contact transmitting means of first to Nth daughter boards 1511 to 151N in the daughter board 151 are received by respective data receiving sections 152a1 to 152aN which are receiving means of the non-contact transmitting means in the backplane board 152 which is arranged in vicinities of the data transmitting sections.
