<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm system for an ammunition storage, which secures safety and operates with a commercial alternating current. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The alarm system for the ammunition storage includes: an ammunition storage alarm 9 for detecting an abnormal condition in an ammunition storage 3 and issuing an alarm; and an explosive device storage alarm 12 for detecting an abnormal condition in an explosive device storage 4 arranged across an explosion prevention bank 1b from the ammunition storage 3 and issuing an alarm.The alarm system also includes: AC transmission lines 6a, 6b for transmitting an alternating current to a site 1 where the ammunition storage 3 and the explosive device storage 4 are located; a breaker device 7 for interrupting overcurrent and an abnormal voltage which are generated in the AC transmission line 6a; a rectifying apparatus 8 which is provided in the ammunition storage 3 for converting the transmitted alternating current into a direct current; a DC transmission line 11 for transmitting the direct current converted by the rectifying apparatus 8 to the explosive device storage 4; and a lightning conductor 14 for protecting the breaker device 7, the rectifying apparatus 8, and the DC transmission line 11 against lightning. The ammunition storage alarm 9 and the explosive device storage alarm 12 are configured so as to operate with the direct current converted by the rectifying apparatus 8.
