PURPOSE: A three dimensional image sensor is provided to accurately measure distance using the difference number of distance measurement pixels depending on the intensity of illumination and to use multiple distance measurement pixels as one distance measurement pixel depending on illumination. CONSTITUTION: Color pixels(C) and distance measurement pixels(Z) are arranged in an array shape. In order that the edges of the distance measurement pixels are adjacent each other, the distance measurement pixels are arranged. The multiple adjacent distance measurement pixels are selectively outputs one distance measurement signal. According to the illumination intensity of a subject, the multiple distance measurement pixels are used as one signal or each distance measurement pixel is used as an individual signal.
