PURPOSE: A pulverized coal stirring device and a control method are provided to extract the location and size of flame which decides combustion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A pulverized coal stirring device and a control method comprises a curved lance(110), an outer tube(120), an inner tube(130), a driving gear(140), a first drive member(150), a second drive member(160), a camera, and a controller. The second drive member is formed in the rearward one side of the lance. The camera is installed on the sight glass of a blast furnace. The controller operates the first and the second drive member by reading the image of flame which is taken in a real time base.
