<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of improving a dissipation performance of a semiconductor light emitting device and further easily obtaining a desired white light by suppressing leak light. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system includes: a substrate 2 provided with a substrate 3 with electric insulation-light translucency having a first surface, a second surface parallel to this surface and a periphery ranging over these surfaces, a light shield 40 equipped on the periphery of this substrate, and a dissipation part 4 formed of a material higher in thermal conductivity than that of this substrate; a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices 7 having an element electrode and disposed on the first surface; and a phosphor layer 18 equipped on the roughly whole surface of the first surface so as to cover the plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
