<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometrics system with enhanced operability or convenience more than before. <P>SOLUTION: The biometrics system includes: a biological information imaging part 11 for imaging biometrics information for authentication; a biometrics information database 12 for storing biological information of a collation original; an authentication processing part 13 for collating the biometrics information with the collation original to perform authentication; and a guidance display part 14 for displaying operational guidance. The authentication processing part 13 determines whether or not a finger is appropriately placed by using vein information of an imaged finger and, when it determines that the finger is not appropriately placed, notifies any one or more of inappropriate finger placement state and part via message display to the guidance display part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
