<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for collecting biological information which is capable of easily specifying a target biological information measuring device based on a registered name of the device when measured biological information is obtained from the biological information measuring device via radio communication. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system for collecting biological information is constituted by the biological information measuring device 110 for measuring biological information, and a portable data collector 120 for collecting the biological information measured by the biological information measuring device 110. The biological information measuring device 110 has a device name changing section 115 for setting the name of the biological information device 110 when a device name changing command is received from the portable data collector 120, and transmits the measured biological information in association with the name of the device to the portable data collector 120.
