<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of motor-driven pruning scissors increasing a work speed in pruning work of fruit trees, and achieving working convenience such as elimination of fatigue feeling of the hand. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pair of pruning scissors is equipped with a fixing blade and an operating blade, and performs pruning work by operating the operating blade by a driving force of a motor, and include a contact switch which is set on one side of a body for operating the motor, and comprises an operation contact and a fixation contact, and a portable operating switch which is formed in a separate annular form allowing putting between the fingers, and operates the motor by internally installing a magnet and sticking together the operation contact and the fixation contact of the contact switch with magnetic force.
