PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control console performing drafting of a preparation map and preparing work simultaneously. SOLUTION: A display part 14 displays a map indicating the arrangement of control receptacles based on arrangement data input into a data input part 15. A control part 12 arranges marks of illumination loads on the map according to an operation input into an operation part 11 and assigns circuit numbers to the corresponding marks of the illumination loads according to the positional relation between the arranged illumination load marks and the control receptacles. The control part 12 also assigns the circuit numbers which are assigned to the corresponding marks of the illumination loads to corresponding operating means of the operation part 11 according to the operation input into the operation part 11. Drafting of the preparation map with the marks of the illumination loads arranged and the preparing work to assign the circuit numbers to the corresponding operating means of the operation part 11 are simultaneously performed.
