PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite structure which is applicable and highly versatile even when a plurality of resin members are joined in any form, and a method for producing the composite structure. SOLUTION: The structure 1 has a first resin member 10, a second resin member 20 insert-molded at the end of the first resin member 10, and a third resin member 30 welded to the second resin member 20 after the insert molding. The first resin member 10 is incompatible with the second resin member 20 and formed from a thermoplastic resin having a melting point higher than that of the second resin member 20 or from a thermosetting resin incompatible with the second resin member.
