PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant film combining high stiffness, rigidity and strength and made thinner than a conventional polyethylene sealant film, and also to provide a self-standing type packaging container using the sealant film. SOLUTION: The sealant film 4 comprises a center core layer 1 and sealant layers 3 on both sides of the center core layer 1 through interlayer adhesive layers 2. The center core layer 1 is formed of polypropylene-based resin of polypropylene polymerized using a metallocene catalyst, random copolymer polypropylene, or the like, and the interlayer adhesive layer 2 is formed of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer polymerized using a metallocene catalyst. The sealant layer 3 is formed of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer polymerized using a metallocene catalyst, or a polyethylene-based resin layer comprising one or more kinds of low density polyethylene.
