<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that securely recovers development residual toner from a developing roller by weakening adhering force between the developing roller and development residual toner while suppressing toner deterioration, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When viewed from the developing roller 140, a flying object member 101 is disposed at the downstream of a position facing a photoreceptor 110 but at the upstream of an electricity removal sheet 143 so as to have an interval between itself and the developing roller. An interval between the developing roller 140 and the flying object member 101 is substantially equal to an interval between the developing roller 140 and the photoreceptor 110. A voltage is applied between the developing roller 140 and the flying object member 101 so that the intensity of an electric field generated between the developing roller 140 and the flying object member 101 becomes the intensity between the intensity of the electric field in an image part and the intensity of an electric field in a background part between the developing roller 140 and the photoreceptor 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
