<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt for an electrophotographic apparatus which has sufficient glossiness, uniformizes the glossiness of the surface of the belt, and is excellent in mechanical strength and transfer ability. <P>SOLUTION: The endless belt for the electrophotographic apparatus is made of a surface layer material in which a base layer 1 contains denatured polyamidoimide resin using (A) to (C) described bellow and a surface layer 2 contains (D) to (F) and satisfies the characteristics (α) and (β) described below. (A) An aromatic isocyanate compound. (B) An anhydride of aromatic polycarboxylic acid. (C) A carboxylic acid with polymer at both terminals. (D) At least two types of acrylic resin. (E) At least one selected from a group consisting of fluorinated carbon resin, denatured acrylic resin, and silicone resin. (F) A carbon black. (α) The weight ratio of (D) to (E) is (D)/(E)=80/20 to 97/3. (β) The sum of the products of the glass transition points of acrylic resins (D) and the proportion of the contents of the corresponding acrylic resins (D) to the total of the (D) and (E) is from 2,500-5,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
