<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf tee capable of freely adjusting the height with a single tee, and having a low possibility of the resistance against the force of a hit being weakened when the hit in the lateral direction is applied to the tee and a low possibility of the tee being blown away. <P>SOLUTION: The golf tee is composed of a tee body composed of a leg with a tapered front end and with a flange overhanging in the lateral direction on the other end side and a support shaft extending from the flange in the opposite direction from the front end; and a ball receiving member with a ball receiving portion in one end and an axial hole to be engaged with the support shaft of the tee body. The ball receiving member can be held at a different position in the axial direction relative to the support shaft portion of the tee body. The ball receiving member can be held at a different position in a nonstep manner in the axial direction relative to the support shaft of the tee body. A male thread is formed on the outer surface of the support shaft portion of the tee body, and a female thread to be engaged with the male thread in the support shaft portion of the tee body is formed in the axial hole in the ball receiving member.
