A method and system for controlling the playing of the monitoring video record are provided. The method for controlling the playing includes the following steps: A, during the process of recording the monitoring video record, detecting the picture of the video record in real time and marking a time index to the dynamic frame in the video record; B, during the process of playing the monitoring video record, obtaining the time index and playing the dynamic frame in the monitoring video record according to the time index. The system for controlling the playing includes a video record recording module, a motion detecting module and a video record playing module. The video record recording module is used to record the monitoring video record; the motion detecting module is used to detect the video record picture in real time and mark the time index to the dynamic frame in the video record during the process of recording the monitoring video record by the video record recording module; and the video record playing module is used to obtain the time index from the motion detecting module and play the dynamic frame in the monitoring video record according to the time index during the process of playing the monitoring video record. In the invention, on the premise of not missing the effective information, the time of playing the monitoring video record is greatly decreased. |
