POLYMER BRUSH COMPOSITE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

A polymer brush composite comprising a base, a solid substance layer arranged on the base and containing at least one of a metal and a metal oxide, and a plurality of polymer chains which penetrate the solid substance layer in such a manner that one end of each polymer chain is arranged on the upper side of the base and the other end thereof is exposed in a surface of the solid substance layer, said surface being on the reverse side of the base-side surface thereof.  The polymer brush composite is a composite material which has a surface wherein an organic polymer compound and an inorganic substance are uniformly present, and exhibits good adhesion to organic polymer compounds and inorganic substances.
