METHOD FOR RESTORATION OF COASTAL WET LAND USING A PIPE TYPE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A method for restoration of coastal wet land using a pipe-type structure is provided to minimize loss of germinated seed or seed due to waves, tide etc, and to improve anchorage rate of the seed with the pipe-type structure. CONSTITUTION: A pipe-type structure is fixed towards the bottom of coastal wet land. The seeds halophyte or germinated seed(3) is transplanted or planted on the coastal wet land located inside the pipe-type structure. The cross section of the pipe-type structure is 1.5 cm^2 or greater. The height of the pipe-type structure from the bottom of the coastal wet land is 0.2 cm or more. The pipe-type structure is made of biodegradable materials including cellulose and coconut fiber.
