The loading device has a variable turbine geometry (1) which has guide blades (3) rotatably arranged in a guide blade carrier (2). An adjustment ring (5) is provided for adjusting the guide blades. A contour (6) is provided on the adjustment ring which engages in guide blade carrier-sided or bearing housing-sided recess (7).
