1501467 Sliding drawers VISCOUNT PLASTIC PRODUCTS PTY Ltd 4 April 1975 [4 April 1974] 13943/75 Heading A4B [Also in Division B8] A drawer is formed from a one-piece moulded plastics blank 2 comprising an open topped boxlike structure having integral side walls 6 and base 4 and four panels 10 hingedly connected to the top on the respective side walls 6 so that the panels 10 may be folded to overlie the side walls 6 and form outer side walls of the drawer. Each panel 10 is connected to a flange 8 formed on each side wall 6 at a V-notched portion 12 providing the hinge connection. Each panel 10 has a flange 14 with a projection 16 which is a snap fit with a projection 18 on each side wall 6. The panel flange 14 may serve as a drawer runner. Channels 20 in opposed panels 10 may provide drawer guides. The panels 10 have mitred end edges and edges of adjacent panels at each corner have interengaging tongues and slots.
