A blind-corner vehicle detection device (10) capable of detecting a vehicle present in a blind corner by being mounted simply to a vehicle.  The blind-corner vehicle detection device (10) is provided with a presentation section (15) which presents information, a sound collecting microphone (11) which detects sounds, a vehicle sound extraction section (12) which extracts vehicle sounds out of the sounds detected by the sound collecting microphone (11), a sound source direction sensing section (13) which senses the sound source direction of the vehicle sounds extracted by the vehicle sound extraction section (12), and a blind-corner vehicle determination section (14) which when the sound source direction of the vehicle sounds sensed by the sound source direction sensing section (13) is a first direction pointing to the upper side than the blind-corner vehicle detection device (10) with respect to the ground surface, causes the presentation section (15) to present a fact such that there is the vehicle in the blind corner.
