A liquid level indicator 3 for a bulk liquid tank comprises an open-ended tubular member 4 which is inserted through an aperture in the wall of the tank and extends at its outwardly flanged lower end below the surface of the liquid in the tank. An indicator tube 11 extends through the tubular member 4 and is flanged outwardly at 12 to be connected to a bellows 13 closed by a disc 14 floating on the surface of the liquid. The skirt 16 of the tubular member 4 is provided with apertures 17 to equalize the pressure on both sides of the bellows 13. A ball 30, floating on the indicator liquid 15 contained in the bellows 13 and tube 11, abuts a spring-loaded plunger 33 which actuates a switch, on movement of the liquid level, to move a further plunger 34 along a scale 24. A temperature calibration gauge is provided at 23. The tank is also equipped with a capacity adjusting means which comprises a plug which is screwed into a bush let into the side of the tank, to bring the level of the indicator liquid 15 to a calibrated index when a measured quantity of liquid from a master meter has been fed into the tank.
