<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting bag, which is in harmony with the environment, has a superior waterproofness and gas barrier property, simplifies manufacturing processes, improves the appearance of a bag body, retains a stable quality, has an enhanced strength against dropping, and is provided with a secured spout. <P>SOLUTION: The self-supporting bag 10 is formed by molding the bag body 11 containing a biodegradable resin and making the molded bag body 11 foldable. The biodegradable resin used for the bag body 11 shows biodegradability D<SB>R</SB>according to JIS K 6950 of 60% or higher.
