The system has a separation unit formed of a swarf tray (3), filtering conveyor (13), chip conveyor (18) and filtering material (15) for separating machining waste from cutting fluid. The conveyors are placed partially inside a machine tool (1). A recuperation tray (6) recuperates the fluid. The conveyors are placed below a machining zone (2), and include a disposable filtering material layer placed on an upper surface of the conveyors. The conveyors are placed above the recuperation tray so that the fluid passes from the zone to the recuperation tray via material layer under force of gravity.
