Through a procedure of dyeing cotton textile materials with enzyme-reduced indigo according to the invention, the problem of ecologically and economically friendly dyeing of cotton textile materials is solved by using the indigo dye (C.1. Vat Blue 1) under multiple application of an enzymatic reductive bath. The procedure of dyeing cotton textile materials with enzymatically reduced indigo is characterised in that indigo dyeing of cotton textile materials is carried out in the following steps: reduction of indigo with NADH-dependent enzymes from Bacillus Subtilis in the presence of the 1,8-dihydroxy-9,10- anthraquinone mediator, oxidation in air after dying of material with reduced indigo and final soaping and washing. |
