A fire detection device for depressurizing a pressure tube (104) of a pneumatically actuated extinguishing system, comprising:
a housing (400);
a detector (110) disposed within the housing (400) and adapted to generate a detection signal in response to a detection of a fire condition; and
a valve (112) coupled to the detector (110) within the housing (400) and configured to:
couple to the pressure tube (104);
maintain an internal pressure inside the pressure tube (104); and
change the internal pressure of the pressure tube (104) in response to the detection signal to activate the fire control system.
