PURPOSE: A method for broadcasting through an IPTV(internet protocol television) and a device thereof are provided to convert IPTV contents to a type suitable to a mobile communications terminal, thereby providing the converted IPTV contents to the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A contents request receiver(210) receives a contents request signal from a mobile communications terminal. According to the contents request signal, a contents requester(220) requests contents requested to an STB(Set-Top Box) corresponding to the mobile communications terminal. A contents receiver(230) receives the contents from the STB. A contents converter(240) converts the contents into a contents type corresponding to the mobile communications terminal. A contents transmitter(250) transmits the converted contents to the mobile communications terminal. The contents are IPTV(Internet Protocol TV) contents. |
