<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot lamp which can be formed in a comparatively small size in a direction crossing a wall face, while care is taken to direct irradiation light toward a part of the floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting diode 5 is housed in a case 4 so as to emit light in a direction along the wall face, and a light guide plate 6, into which the light from the light-emitting diode 5 is incident, is arranged along the wall face. The light guide plate 6 is to make at least one of the peripheral faces an incident face 7 guiding the light from the light-emitting diode 5, and a face in a thickness direction an irradiating face 8. On one face opposite to the irradiating face 8 in the thickness direction of the light guide plate, a plurality of light guide grooves 11 with cross sections crossing the incident face 7 and the irradiating face 8 formed in a wedge shape are indented in an up-and-down direction, so that the light guide plate 6 distributes light leaking and irradiating from the irradiating face 8 so as to be directed toward the floor surface by the light guide grooves 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
