PURPOSE: A plasma display apparatus is provided to stabilize a sustain discharge by differently supplying the sustain signal in the sustain period of the selective erasing subfield and a selective writing subfield. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a scan electrode and a sustain electrode which are in line each other. The plasma display panel implements an image including at least one selective erasing subfield and a selective writing subfield. A driving part(110) supplies a sustain signal to at least one among the scan electrode and the sustain electrode in the sustain period of the selective writing subfield. The driving part supplies the sustain signal to at least one among the scan electrode and the sustain electrode in the sustain period of the selective erasing subfield. The sustain signal comprises a rising period, a maintain period and a falling period.
